Satnam Sumal Identified As Suspect In The Murder Of Two Woman Found Dead In Tracy Home

Two women were discovered dead in a residence, according to Tracy police, who also announced the arrest of a 55-year-old male in connection with the double homicide investigation.

“It’s a tragedy, and our thoughts are with the family,” Sgt. Michael Richards said. “A motive is still under investigation,”

According to the police, Satnam Sumal, 55, was arrested and lodged in the San Joaquin County Jail on two counts of murder.

According to the police, one of the victims was identified as Sumal’s wife, and the other as his wife’s girlfriend. According to authorities, the three residents of the house in the 2400 block of Sunflower Lane lived together.

The women were identified as Tracy resident Satbinder Singh, 39, and Vallejo resident Nadjiba Belaidi, 37, by the San Joaquin County coroner.

According to Richards, Sumal turned himself into Tracy police on Monday and claimed to have shot his wife and her girlfriend. According to authorities, a gun thought to have been used in the killings was discovered at the house.

In an otherwise close-knit community, neighbors stated that the victims and the suspect kept to themselves.
