Cody Shane Boudreaux Identified As Victim Of Fatal Collision On Eraste Landry Road

Cody Shane Boudreaux, aged 52 and hailing from Lafayette, has been identified as the victim.

In Lafayette, Louisiana, emergency crews were called to the scene of a deadly collision on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred on Eraste Landry Road, close to its junction with Bertrand Drive.

According to police, the intersection has been closed off in all directions.

According to News 10, Lt. Jace Quebedeaux, the Public Information Officer, has confirmed that there was a fatality in the crash.

According to the witness, a southbound vehicle on Bertrand was approached by another vehicle that entered the intersection on a green light at Eraste Landry Road.

According to reports, the driver of the first vehicle was making a left turn onto Eraste Landry when it collided with the second vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle had to be extricated from the vehicle and was subsequently taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The individual passed away at the hospital. According to his statement, the driver of the initial vehicle declined medical assistance at the scene.
