According to sources, Austin Goss is said to have orchestrated a pre-recorded prank call to Dan Lederman, the former chairman of the South Dakota Republican Party.

The individual who made the call utilized the online platform PrankDial to manipulate the caller ID to display the name of Noem. As per investigators, on January 22nd, a member of the mafia reportedly accused the recipient of stealing vaccination boxes during a prank, in an angry outburst.

The question posed to the individual was whether they had informed Vito about their intentions to relocate the three boxes of AstraZeneca outside of the family. As per one of the statements made, it was reported that.

According to reports, the call ended with the statement, “You’ve just been pranked by PrankDial.com.”

Lederman expressed concern for his safety due to the audio recording. According to a police report, the individual also alleged that Goss had sent him “snide or rude remarks” via text message on occasion.

Earlier this month, Dakota News Now’s Capitol bureau correspondent, Goss, was sacked by the news outlet after they made a discovery.

Following his arrest last Thursday, he was initially charged with a severe misdemeanor that carried a potential one-year prison sentence upon conviction.

The defendant entered a guilty plea for the charge of disorderly conduct. According to Goss’ attorney, on Tuesday, the call was characterized as a “practical joke” shared between Goss and a friend.

According to a statement made by attorney Jason Glodt, the Court has granted Mr. Goss a suspended imposition of sentence, resulting in no conviction being recorded on his record. According to the speaker, it is regrettable that he was charged initially.

However, the State’s Attorney’s readiness to lessen the charge is acknowledged and appreciated. According to sources, Noem’s office has declined to provide any comment regarding the outcome of the case.
