
25 Years Old Woman Arrested For ‘Murder’ After Female Victim Found Dead In Petersfield Home By Cops
In response to a woman in her 40s being discovered dead inside a home, a 25-year-old woman has been detained on suspicion of murder.
Concerns for the wellbeing of the residents prompted police and paramedics to hurry to the Petersfield, Hampshire, residence on Tuesday night.
An area in Station Road, Petersfield was cordoned off, and the Hampshire Constabulary Major Crime Team was briefed.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman stated that a 25-year-old woman had been placed in police cells after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
“An investigation has been started in response to a woman’s death in Petersfield.
On Tuesday, just before eight o’clock, we received a call about a Station Road location.
“When police arrived, they found a woman’s body who was in her 40s.
Although the woman’s next of kin have been notified and are receiving support from specialized authorities, formal identification has not yet occurred.
“A 25-year-old Bordon lady has been detained on suspicion of murder as part of our investigations. She’s still being held at this moment.
