Kyron Keith Fazande Identified As Suspect In The Shooting At Mandina Restaurant

A shooting incident at Mandina’s Restaurant during the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival resulted in the death of one person and injury of another. On Monday, a man was arrested in Houston in connection with the shooting.

In Houston, the suspect was apprehended by US Marshals with the assistance of the New Orleans Police Department. The arrest was made without any incident.

Kyron Keith Fazande, aged 22, has been identified. The individual was set to be extradited to answer for allegations of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated battery.

On April 28, during the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a shooting occurred outside a Mandina’s restaurant where thousands had gathered in the city.

According to police, Fasande allegedly shot a 23-year-old waiter named Hilbert Walker III and also injured a 54-year-old woman.

A woman, who remains unidentified, was reportedly a guest at a restaurant where a celebration was being held in honor of Hemmert’s birthday.

During the shooting incident, Hemmert narrowly avoided being hit by a bullet.

During the New Orleans Jazz Fest, a shooting occurred.

According to the police, a shooting incident occurred while Walker was attending to customers. Reportedly, two men alighted from a car and proceeded to shoot him several times.

A woman from Chicago was hit by a bullet that went through the wall of a restaurant while she was standing behind Hemmert.

According to Hemmert’s Facebook post over the weekend, the woman was one of 28 friends in New Orleans celebrating her birthday.

According to Hemmert, the shooting was traumatic. According to her statement, the bullet narrowly missed her head by a mere two inches, striking the wall instead.

In her statement, she expressed criticism towards the increasing prevalence of gun violence throughout the nation. She asserted that unless action is taken to address this issue, both she and the general public will remain at risk.

On Monday morning, Fasande was apprehended at a Houston residence and is set to be transported back to New Orleans to face charges of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated battery.

According to sources, the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
