Beau Mann Identified As Missing Man Found Dead
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, Beau Mann was found deceased on May 8, 2023. Last year, Beau was featured in Dateline’s ‘Missing in America’ series. Dateline spoke with Jason Abate, who claimed to be Beau’s fiancé.
According to Jason, he spoke with Beau on November 29, 2021 and reported that their conversation seemed to be positive, as relayed to Dateline.
On November 30, at 2:00 p.m., the 41-year-old was spotted at a convenience store located on the 11000 block of Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
It is reported that no one has seen him since that moment. Concerns arose among Beau’s family and friends when he had not been in contact for several days. On December 4, 2021, a report was made that he had gone missing.
In May 2022, Dateline conducted an interview with Officer Jill Calhoun from the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to Officer Calhoun, Dateline has learned that Beau was reportedly dropped off by an Uber at a 7-Eleven located on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City on November 30, 2021. The officer further revealed that their office has obtained security footage from that particular day.

Dateline reports that Jason Abate has obtained access to Beau’s Uber records from that day. According to his statement, Beau was reportedly dropped off at a 7-Eleven in Studio City at approximately 2:05 p.m. and later seen on Berkeley Street in Santa Monica at 2:35 p.m. According to Jason, that was Beau’s final Uber destination.
According to sources, Beau allegedly sent a text message to 911 during that particular time frame. According to Officer Calhoun, the LAPD received a 911 text from Beau on November 30, 2021. Despite several attempts to contact Beau through that correspondence, he did not respond.
According to Officer Calhoun, who spoke to Dateline, the Uber vehicle that Beau was in on that day was under investigation, but there were no indications of any wrongdoing. The remains of Beau were discovered after a year and a half.
