Antwine Potts Identified As Victim In Double Shooting At West 3rd Street

The victim who died in a double shooting involving a 14-year-old girl on Saturday has been named by Wilmington police.

Just after 9:30 p.m., a shooting took place on the 1800 block of West 3rd Street.

Police discovered a 47-year-old guy with gunshot wounds at the scene. He was taken to the hospital in a critical state and later passed away.

Antwine Potts has since been named as the victim.

Additionally, a 14-year-old girl was discovered at the scene with gunshot wounds. She was sent to the hospital and is doing well.

Investigations into this occurrence are ongoing. Officials have not revealed the circumstances surrounding the incident or made any arrests.

Additionally, police have not indicated whether the teenager and Potts are somehow connected.
