Javon Brown of Bellevue Identified As Shooter In Sunday Bellevue Attempted Murder-Suicide Involving Teen Girl

In the early hours of Sunday, there was an attempted murder-murder-suicide in Erie County. The gunman has been identified as Javon Brown of Bellevue, Ohio.

A 17-year-old girl was hurt in what investigators believe to have been a nighttime attempted murder-suicide in Bellevue involving Brown, age 18.

According to accounts, at around 3:45 on Sunday morning, police were called to a report of shots fired in the 9000 block of Ohio 269. When they got there, they discovered Brown and a female with what seemed to be gunshot wounds.

Brown suffered gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.

The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she is still in an unstable condition.

According to the findings of the investigation, Brown shot the woman in the head after a disagreement over their relationship. Then Brown shot himself with his own weapon.

Detectives from the sheriff’s office and BCI agents are still present as of Sunday afternoon.
