
Clint Allen Identified As Victim Stabbed To Death In A Rural Bar; Suspect Arrested
The victim has been identified as Clint Allen, aged 38. A young man, aged 20, has been accused of killing a man described as a ‘family guy’ outside a rural bar.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Clint Allen, his wife Bek, and three other individuals were departing The Criterion Hotel in Sale, Victoria, located approximately 200 kilometers east of Melbourne. At that time, an individual wielding a knife, whose identity remains unknown, approached the group.
In the early hours of the morning, a group of individuals were gathered to celebrate Bek’s 37th birthday.
However, the festivities were cut short when the group contacted the police at 1 a.m. Upon arrival at the York-MacAlister intersection, authorities discovered Mr. Allen in a severely injured state.
According to Victoria Police, the individual was discovered by officers who quickly provided first aid until paramedics arrived. Unfortunately, the individual passed away at the scene.

Makala Lister, Allen’s stepdaughter who is currently six weeks pregnant, expressed her distress over the loss of the renowned BMX champion and avid outdoorsman.
Allen was known for his love of activities such as camping, dirt biking, and 4WDs, and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. According to the Herald Sun, she stated that Clint was an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather to his yet-to-be-born granddaughter.
He was widely admired by all those who crossed his path and was known for his willingness to engage in conversation on any topic. According to sources, he is said to have left a lasting impression on all those he encountered and will be fondly remembered by them.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about it to call them immediately.
A 20-year-old man has been remanded in custody and is set to appear in Sale Magistrates’ Court on May 8th.
