Cho Kyu Song, Kang Shin Young And James Cho Identified Family Victim In Allen, Texas Mass Shooting

The victims of the Texas mall shooting were Cho Kyu Song, 37, Kang Shin Young, 35, and James Cho, 3 – The Texas mall shooting on Saturday claimed the lives of a Korean American couple and their 3-year-old son, while also injuring their 5-year-old son.

According to the Korean Consulate in Dallas, gunman Mauricio Garcia, 33, sadly killed Cho Song, Kang Young, and their younger child James Cho while they were shopping at the Allen Premium Outlets.

According to the consulate, the couple’s oldest son was one of the hurt and is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. The survivors, whose ages ranged from five to 61, included the 5-year-old as the youngest.

Irvin Walker II, 46, of Lafayette, Louisiana, was identified as one of the survivors of the shooting on Monday. When the incident occurred, he was dropping off a friend at the mall. When Garcia opened fire on his car, Walker, a business development account manager for Equifax, was on his way to a park, according to his parents. Garcia hit Walker three times in the chest and once in the right shoulder. Following surgery to remove the gunshot fragments from his body, Walker is reportedly in stable condition. Three of the injured people are in serious condition, while four others are in fair condition, according to the Allen Police Department.
