Body Found Dead In A Suitcase In North Harris County

Deputies reported that a dead body was found stuffed into a suitcase by a couple walking their dog overnight in north Harris County.

According to Harris County sheriff’s deputies, a body was found intentionally dumped by an unknown individual in the 22800 block of Imperial Valley Drive near Cypress Slough Drive.

According to investigators, the body was in a state of decomposition and appeared to have been there for an extended period of time.

Sgt. Jason Brown reported that the body’s advanced state of decomposition has made it difficult to determine the gender. “We’re not even sure right now whether or not it’s male or female,” he stated.

According to the source, no specific details regarding age or related information can be provided at this time.

According to deputies, the body was discovered by a couple walking their dog at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The scene was captured on video, revealing an abundance of tall grass in the vicinity, potentially contributing to its concealment.

According to deputies, an autopsy was expected to take place on Monday in order to identify the body.
