Another victim of the Texas mall shooting has been identified as an engineer named Aishwarya Thatikonda who immigrated to the United States from India.

On May 7th, Saturday afternoon, a shooting occurred at an Allen outlet mall resulting in the deaths of nine individuals, including the suspect.

President Joe Biden confirmed that children were among the victims, but did not provide a specific number.

According to a family representative, Aishwarya Thatikonda has been identified as deceased following the Dallas Allen Outlet Premium mall shooting, due to critical injuries sustained during the incident. During the shooting incident, she was accompanied by a friend at the shopping mall.

According to reports, the victim’s friend was also wounded in the shooting incident and is presently in stable condition at the hospital. In McKinney, a city in Texas, Aishwarya resided while her family currently resides in India.

According to a professional social media website, she obtained her Masters degree in the United States in 2020 after graduating from Osmania University Hyderabad in 2018. She is presently employed as a civil engineer with a construction company.

There are plans underway to send her body to India. At present, the names of the victims have not been disclosed. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the suspect in the shooting has been identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia.

The department is currently conducting an investigation into the incident. The families of Aishwarya and other victims of the shooting have received deep condolences. The issue of gun violence in the US has reached a critical point, prompting calls for action from lawmakers.
