Wisconsin deputy Shot and killed while responding to drunken driver, Suspect on the run

Sunday-Authorities announced that a Wisconsin deputy responding to a complaint about a suspected drunk driver in a ditch was shot and killed.

The suspect fled into the woods and was later discovered deceased from a gunshot wound, according to the state’s Department of Justice.
No identities or other details were released immediately.

Early Saturday evening, the deputy was wounded in Glenwood, St. Croix County, approximately 60 miles east of Minneapolis.
