A vehicle has struck and killed one person on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Officers of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision at North High School Road and Commons Road late Saturday night. This is a residential neighborhood adjacent to 46th Street and east of I-465.
On arrival, officers discovered a male with trauma injuries. According to IMPD, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The vehicle that struck the individual fled the scene.
Police have disclosed the victim’s name and a description of the vehicle involved in the collision.
