The Laval police (SPL) are conducting an investigation after a man was mortally stabbed early Sunday morning near the Place Bell arena.
The police say they discovered the 51-year-old male on Claude-Gagné Street at approximately 2:00 a.m.
With severe injuries, he was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The authorities knew the victim.
There have been no arrests and there are no suspects. Sunday, SPL investigators were on location to acquire more information about the incident.
The investigation is still active.
This is the second homicide that has occurred in Laval in 2023.
