1 man stabbed and injured in fight over Fireworks at New Smyrna Beach
According to police, a fight over fireworks at a New Smyrna Beach boat ramp resulted in a man being stabbed late Friday afternoon.
At 6:32 p.m., an incident was reported at 160 North Causeway in New Smyrna Beach.
As per the police, witnesses have reported that two men were engaged in a dispute over the usage of fireworks. According to police, the altercation escalated into a physical altercation, culminating in one of the men being stabbed three times.
According to the police, the victim sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach for medical attention.
According to the police, an individual has been apprehended and is facing potential criminal charges pending a thorough investigation.
