In the Carver community, a death investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man’s body at a residence on Washington Avenue on Saturday morning.

At 10:46 a.m., the Johnson City Police Department (JCPD) discovered a deceased male with gunshot wounds on the porch of a home that was not his residence, as per a statement from Johnson City officials.

According to a statement, the JCPD has not yet released the identity of the victim and they do not believe that there is any current danger to the public.
