Leroy Nelson Identified As Victim Shot Multiple Times To Death In New Ton, Freetown
Reporting from Clarendon, Jamaica – In New Town, Freetown, Clarendon, a man was shot dead this morning and over 20 spent shells were discovered at the murder scene.
In a tragic incident, 33-year-old Leroy Nelson, also known as ‘Ray Ray’ and a resident of Rosehall district in Freetown, was fatally shot by unknown assailants who fired multiple rounds of bullets at him.
At approximately 1:37 am, multiple loud explosions resembling gunshots were heard by residents who then contacted the police.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials observed Nelson lying in a pool of blood, with what seemed to be multiple gunshot wounds to his head and upper body.
According to sources, the individual in question was declared deceased at the May Pen Hospital before being transferred to the morgue.
This morning, the crime scene detectives conducted an investigation of the area and discovered 26 spent casings.
As of the latest update, authorities have not yet disclosed the identity of the perpetrator nor determined the reason behind the assault.
