Ismail Muhammad Identified As Victim Found Dead At Terry Drive

According to a report from the Charleston County Coroner’s Office, the individual who passed away has been identified as Ismail Muhammad, a 43-year-old resident of North Charleston.

According to a press release, the cause of death for Muhammad is currently pending a forensic autopsy, which has been scheduled for May 9.

On the morning of May 6, a deceased male was discovered at Terry Drive.

According to a tweet from the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD), officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Terry Drive at around 2 a.m. A man was discovered lying on the ground outside a residence and was declared dead at the location.

According to police, the cause of the man’s death is currently pending an autopsy. As of May 6, there have been no arrests made. The investigation into the death is being treated as a homicide.
