38 Years Old Man Found Dead In Barnsley; 48 Years Old Woman Suspect Arrested

A man has died in Barnsley, prompting a police investigation.

A man was discovered with severe injuries at a residence on Springwood Road in the Hoyland region earlier today (May 6) and authorities were alerted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service at approximately 6:30 am.

At the scene, police were present and unfortunately, a 38-year-old man was declared dead. Specially trained officers are providing support to the family after being informed of the situation.

A probe has been initiated to examine the details surrounding his demise.

A woman, aged 48, has been taken into police custody on suspicion of murder. No further details have been released at this time.
