The Houston Police Department reports that the victim was shot in the cranium.
The incident occurred at 11:40 a.m. in an apartment complex located at 2245 Avenida La Quinta Street.
Detective Mike Nicotra of the Homicide Division of the HPD stated that officers who responded to a call of a downed person discovered the victim dead at the site.
