
A man opened fire at numerous sites in Serbia, leaving at least 10 dead and 15 injured.
Early on Friday, according to local media accounts, a 21-year-old man named by police as Uros Blazic, a soldier’s son from Serbia, opened fire with an automatic rifle from inside of a car, killing six other individuals as well as a police officer and his sister before dying from their injuries.
According to reports, at least two additional people were also slain. According to reports, at least 25 individuals, including women and children, have been shot.
Following an altercation in a playground, gunfire started in Mladenovac, 42 kilometers south of the capital Belgrade, and continued in two nearby villages.
Blazic’s arrest has been called for by a warrant.
The criminal is on the run, thus all available patrols have been despatched in the area of Mladenovac and Mali Pozarevac, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry.
Streets were cordoned off by cops wearing helmets and protective vests, while helicopters were hovering over the hamlet.
Since the shooter is thought to be hiding in the village of Sepsin, the special forces did not permit anyone to approach the villages where the shootings occurred.
While the injured were being treated, Security Information Agency Director Aleksandar Vulin and Health Minister Danica Grujicic arrived at the emergency center.
The incident happened the day after nine people were killed in a school shooting.
In a Belgrade school, a teenage boy opened fire, killing eight students and a security guard.
According to the Interior Ministry, the incident occurred at Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School and resulted in the injuries of six further pupils and a female teacher.
The suspect, 14, who could only be recognized by his initials, KK, has been detained, according to the ministry.
The occurrence on Wednesday was acknowledged with sorrow by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
