South Georgian Kentavious White Suspect Kills Two Of His Family And Killed Himself.
South Georgian Kentavious White killed himself after shooting two of his family and a McDonald’s employee. Unsettling security footage from Georgia shows the moment a McDonald’s employee opened fire on his manager, killing him after also killing his mother and grandparents.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reports that Kentavious White, 26, ended his killing spree just before 6 a.m. on Thursday by shooting himself in a fast food restaurant in Moultrie.
According to unreleased surveillance footage, “White arrived at the restaurant” and “got his manager, Amia Smith, to come to the door,” the state agency claims.
Smith was fatally shot by White. White is then seen entering the restaurant, where he shoots himself to death,” according to the report.
According to Sabrina Holweger, who works next door, Smith, 41, was the McDonald’s early-morning manager and appeared to have been shot dead while unlocking the door to let White start his shift.
Police in the area sped to the site after learning that a woman “had been shot but was still alive” at a nearby residence. She was moved to a nearby hospital, where the GBI claims she eventually passed away.
Then, a third contact stated, “an additional woman was found dead at another home next door.”Later on, the 50-year-old Susie Arnold and the 74-year-old grandma Hilda Marshall, both victims of the mass shooter, were recognized by C. Verlyn Brock, coroner of Colquitt County.
The coroner stated that all three women had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Brock remarked, “I can’t for the life of me tell what started it off like that. In the early hours of Thursday morning, Jerry Goodwin, who lived next door to the shooter and his dead mother, reported hearing gunshots with his wife. Just after midnight, another neighbor told WALB News 10 that he heard six to seven gunshots.
It wasn’t immediately known whether either contacted Moultrie police, who remained silent. White walked out with the gun and fired while he said something, but authorities had already been contacted, according to Goodwin, a week earlier.
What was done wasn’t quite clear. Although this was the case, Goodwin claimed of White that “he had never seen him hurt anybody or try to hurt anybody before this.”
Tanner Strickland claimed to be acquainted with White’s deceased grandmother and mother. According to Strickland, “They were both two of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the pleasure to be with.”
“Both shine in any space they enter. They both truly possess golden hearts. McDonald’s in Moultrie will stay closed till further notice, according to owner and manager George Suarez. Our thoughts go out to all those who were harmed in this senseless act of violence, and we are crushed by the loss of our beloved restaurant manager, added Suárez.
A day prior to the most recent mass shooting in Georgia, a shooter at a doctor’s office in Atlanta murdered one person and injured four others. A murder is rather uncommon in our part of the woods, according to Colquitt County government administrator Chas Cannon.
It’s incredible. But in this day and age, our jail and neighborhood prison are both full. It’s unfortunate that so many individuals flout the law, he remarked.
