Catrina Petit Identified As Taravella High School Student Arrested For Making Threats On School Shooting
An 18-year-old student from Taravella High School, Catrina Petit, has been arrested by CSPD for making threats to carry out a school shooting.
According to sources, a threat was sent out by Petit under false pretenses, using the name and computer access of another student.
A threat was posted on social media, causing concern in multiple counties throughout the state.
According to official sources, Petit has been charged with multiple felonies. The CSPD’s Threat Management Unit, in collaboration with BSO’s Threat Management Unit and Broward Schools SID, worked tirelessly around the clock.
