A woman was found with serious facial injuries and a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
According to reports, a man’s suspicious behavior prompted police to arrive at the scene in Newcastle-under-Lyme just before 10 am on Monday.
Suzanne Henry, who has been identified, was discovered with severe facial injuries and subsequently transported to the hospital.

A man from Newcastle-under-Lyme, aged 20, who was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has now been apprehended on suspicion of murder. Detectives are currently questioning him regarding the incident.
