State Police Reports: 3 Dead after car fleeing Police Crashes into Tree in Dauphin County

Three persons were murdered overnight on Thursday in an automobile wreck in Dauphin County after eluding police attempts to pull them over, according to authorities.

Around 1:35 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania State Police, officers tried to pull over the car for a traffic infraction.

A chase started after the driver refused to stop, according to state police. Near exit 72A in Lower Paxton Township on I-81 north, the car was lost to the troopers’ sight.

State police said the car was discovered on North Mountain Road, at the I-81 overpass in Lower Paxton, after searching the neighborhood. Inside, three dead bodies were discovered. They had not yet revealed who they were.

Troopers are still looking into it, according to state police.
