Harry O. Latour, Jr Identified As One Of The Victim Of Homicide By Gunshot In Centennial Neighborhood
Harry O. Latour, Jr, 34, has been identified as one of the deceased. The family of the deceased has been informed of his passing and has provided a photograph for public dissemination.
According to the Medical Examiner, the cause of death was determined to be homicide by gunshot.
The identity of the second deceased individual is currently being withheld. According to the Medical Examiner’s report, the individual in question was found to have suffered a gunshot wound.
However, the report also indicates that the cause of death was not the result of homicidal violence. The cause of death remains undetermined as authorities await the results of toxicology tests.

In the Centennial Neighborhood, two men have been reported dead following a shooting incident.
In the early hours of Sunday, April 30, 2023, officers from the East Precinct were dispatched to investigate a report of gunfire in the vicinity of the 16600 block of Southeast Naegeli Drive. At the scene, an adult male was found deceased by officers.
Another deceased adult male was found by officers in the 17100 block of Southeast Naegeli Drive shortly after.
No arrests have been made as the suspect or suspects had already fled the scene before the arrival of the police.
The scene was responded to by the Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit, who are currently investigating. As part of the ongoing investigation, Southeast Naegeli Drive has been closed off to traffic between Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 174th Avenue.
