On Wednesday, a pedestrian-vehicle accident occurred on I-14 at Indian Trail, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old man from Killeen.
Elijah Chiasson was killed. According to a news release by the Harker Heights police on Thursday, Chiasson was declared dead at 3:55 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., an accident took place.
According to a police release, the victim (Chiasson) was hit by a vehicle while in the center lane of traffic, as revealed by preliminary investigation. According to sources, no charges are anticipated to be filed at this moment.
