Two children Killed in house fire in Clovis, New Mexico, on Wednesday Morning
After a house fire in Clovis, New Mexico on Wednesday morning, two kids perished.
According to the Eastern New Mexico News, first responders were alerted to smoke coming from a house in the vicinity of Axtell Street and East 2nd Street at around 9:30 this morning.
An adult was standing on the roof of the house when police and fire personnel arrived on the site. They also discovered that three kids were housed in a second-floor room.
According to the Eastern New Mexico News, police had to restrain a lady who was trying to break into the house.
A toddler was being carried away from the fire while being covered in a blanket.
As firefighters worked to put out the fire, two young children—one and two years old—were discovered dead, according to the Eastern New Mexico News.
The fire is being looked into by the Fire Marshal.
