A 24-year-old Sri Lankan national was found dead in a room at the Grodno State Medical University hostel on April 30th. The Belarus Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
According to official reports, the individual who passed away has been identified as Thishan Kularatne. Kularatne, a 24-year-old resident of Kandy, was a fourth-year student at the Grodno State Medical University in Belarus at the time of his passing.
According to sources, Kularatne was discovered by his fellow university students who had been attempting to contact him, but received no response.
The Belarus Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death of a young person. At this time, no cause of death has been identified, and authorities are working to determine whether the death was a suicide or the result of other factors.
Kularatne, an outstanding student, had been awarded for his exceptional talent in the first, second, and third years of his degree. According to sources, the individual in question held the position of senior prefect during their time in school and demonstrated exceptional abilities in various extracurricular pursuits.
