Jake Hill Charged With Murder Of Michael Allen Near A Night Club
In Cornwall, a man named Jake Hill, aged 24, has been charged with murder following the death of Michael Allen, who was fatally stabbed near a nightclub.
In a tragic incident that occurred early on Sunday, Michael Allen, a 32-year-old resident of Liskeard, lost his life in a stabbing assault that took place in Victoria Square on Castle Canyke Road in Bodmin.
The assault also left seven other men and women injured. Six out of the seven individuals were transported to the hospital, however, they have all been discharged since then. In the early hours of the morning, authorities received a report of a severe altercation in the vicinity of the Eclipse nightclub.
According to reports, officers were called to the scene of a person allegedly wielding a knife and multiple individuals who appeared to have sustained stab wounds. Jake Hill reportedly 24 years old.
In a recent development, Jake Hill from Bodmin has been arrested and charged with one count of murder, three counts of attempted murder, and two offenses of Section 18 intent to cause severe bodily injury in connection with the death of Michael Allen.
According to Devon and Cornwall Police, he is set to make an appearance before Truro Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Members of the public have been requested by the police to provide any doorbell, CCTV, or dashcam footage that could assist in their investigation. In response to the incident, Mr. Allen’s family has released a statement in which they refer to him as a cherished son, brother, grandson, and uncle who had a great affection for his dogs.
According to Bodmin Rugby Club, they paid tribute to the individual and mentioned that he joined their squad earlier this season and rapidly became an integral part of their team. According to the club, his humor and kindness have made a lasting impression on everyone, and his absence will be deeply felt.
