The suspect Tyler Griffin – Police are investigating the death of a woman who died after falling to the ground at a hotel in Times Square on Tuesday night.

While his involvement in her death is still being looked into, a man has been detained in connection with the case. The 20-year-old woman died after falling from a window or rooftop into scaffolding on the second floor, according to the police.

A man was detained for beating her in the hotel, while the circumstances of her death are still under investigation. Police say that about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the 20-year-old woman died after falling from the OYO Hotel’s second-floor scaffolding in Times Square.

Police said she was visiting from out of state, and there is no proof that she was pushed or thrown. Police were called to a physical altercation between the deceased and Colorado resident Tyler Gryphon, 24, before the victim jumped.

Gryphon was taken into custody for abusing the wife and putting the couple’s 1-year-old child in jeopardy. Witnesses in the hotel said that Gryphon yanked the 1-year-old down the steps outside of a hallway by grabbing her arm. The small child and Gryphon were both taken to the hospital for examination.

“I heard what seemed to be a huge explosion. It almost sounded like a gunshot. Yumna Khan, a hotel guest, stated, “And I was like, ‘What is going on?'” Oh no, a body is outside. I was startled out of sleep when I saw the body and cried, “Oh my God.”

Hotel visitor Juan Gamboa said, “I went down to the lobby and there were a lot of cops.” Authorities have once more made no mention of the victim being pushed or thrown, or of the nature of the earlier incident. Her identity has not yet been made public.
