Remains of missing fisherman Kevin Darmody in Far North Queensland located
When wildlife officers opened the bodies of two crocodiles thought to have contributed to Far North Queensland bartender Kevin Darmody’s demise, they made a gruesome discovery.
A huge crocodile that was put down by wildlife authorities had human bones inside of it that were thought to belong to a missing fisherman.
Although the remains have not yet been officially identified, police believe they will shed light on the fate of Kevin Darmody, who went missing on Saturday while fishing in the Kennedy River.
“My good mate Kevin Darmody from the Laura Hotel has been taken by a croc while fishing in the Kennedy River ! I am told by his brother that 3 of them where fishing at the same spot and it seems the croc came out of nowhere behind them and took him into the river ! as to now his body has not been found! R I P Kevin Darmody!,” a social media post shared on Sunday read.
Investigation continues.
