UPDATE: Ramon Vigil, a 21-year-old resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, was the victim of the homicide that took place on April 30, 2023, according to detectives with the Santa Fe Police Department.
It is known that on the evening of the shooting, Mr. Vigil met with a group of individuals in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Detectives are still following leads and appealing to anyone who saw the incident or has information about it to come forward.
At this moment, no suspects have been located.
Earlier: According to Santa Fe Police Department, on April 30, 2023, at approximately 12:30 am, Santa Fe Police officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the Lowe’s Home Improvement store on Zafarano Drive regarding a shooting.
After patrol officers arrived on the scene, a 21-year-old male victim was located with at least one gunshot wound. The male victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Detectives responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation that remains ongoing.
