Casey Grayson Identified As Hinds County Escapee Found Dead In New Orleans

One of the escapees was found dead, according to Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones’ announcement.

Jones claims that Casey Grayson, 34, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was discovered unconscious in a car at a truck stop on Sunday, April 30. Grayson’s cause of death is still unknown, but according to Jones, no foul play is thought to have been involved.

Found stolen truck thought to be related to the Hinds County escape. The only escapee still unaccounted for, according to the sheriff, is Corey Harrison.

Four prisoners broke out of Raymond’s Hinds County Detention Center in late April.

After shooting and killing a pastor in Simpson County last week, investigators claim that Dylan Arrington, 22, directed them to a residence in Leake County. Jones claimed that after locking himself inside the house and engaging in a shootout with police, Arrington perished in a fire.

Tyree Jones, the sheriff of Hinds County, reported that Jerry Raynes was apprehended near Spring Valley, Texas.
On April 27th, Jerry Raynes, 51, was apprehended in Texas. He is being sent to Mississippi via extradition, where he will be lodged in the Hinds County Detention Facility once more.
