Jeffrey Church And Wife Judith Church In House Fire In Town Of Gerry

According to reports, a house fire in the Town of Gerry claimed the lives of a husband and wife early this morning.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, the bodies of Jeffrey Church, 66, and Judith Church, 66, were discovered by fire personnel at their residence located at 4932 Herrick Road.

According to reports, the blaze was attended by eight fire departments at approximately 5:45 AM on Sunday. According to reports, crews from Gerry, Ellington, Sinclairville, Falconer, Kennedy, Fluvanna, Ellery Center, and Stockton responded to the incident, along with the County Medic.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is being investigated.
