Brian Jeffery Bowers, known for Leviticus (2022), Workout Partners (2022) and The Great Gatsby (2021) has passed away, an online obituary announced on Sunday, April 30th, 2023.
His cause of death was not disclosed.
The actor, filmmaker, writer, and producer was an Executive Director at Cleveland Film Collective. Brian also founded the Gorilla Film School.
The announcement of his passing was flooded by heartfelt tributes and condolences across social media. He will be missed by many.
“I can’t believe Brian Jeffery Bowers is gone! Brian was somebody I met way back in 2010 or 2011 when I first started doing the 48 Hour Film Competition with FNA. He was always so nice to me and every time we talked he would praise my talent. He knew what to say to make me feel better about myself. He almost never had anything negative to say about anyone. This death came out of nowhere for me. I just had a long conversation with him a few months ago! This really hammers home that life is too short and our time on this planet can be up at any moment. Rest in peace Brian. You will be missed,” a tribute post shared via a social media post read.
