Shooting Threat; Two Tavares Middle School Students Arrested And Charged With Making Shooting Threat
Following the discovery of a school shooting threat written on a bathroom mirror by Lake County deputies, two Tavares Middle School students are now being charged.
Other kids found the threat in the girls’ restroom on Thursday afternoon, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and alerted police to it.
Eventually, deputies connected the threat to two female pupils.
One of the pupils acknowledged making the threat, according to an LCSO report. The markings that the deputies discovered matched the writing on the mirror.
