The search for a missing young woman in Melbourne’s southeast has concluded with a tragic outcome after she was found in an ugly state.
According to a statement by Victoria Police, a body was found in Narre Warren on Friday.
The identity of the deceased has not been officially confirmed, however, it is believed to be that of a Wantirna woman who was reported missing. Sarah Weatherstone, 28, was identified as the individual in question.
As of March 23, she had not been seen. According to a social media post by Judith, Sarah’s mother, the family was notified of her passing on Friday.
She expressed gratitude for the support and affection received during the last five weeks. The individual is being remembered with the message, “Rest in peace beautiful, forever in our hearts.”
