Michael-Earl Wayne Anthony Identified As Private Security Guard Arrested In Fatal SF Walgreens Shooting

According to reports, a suspect has been taken into custody in relation to a deadly shooting that occurred inside a Walgreens store near Westfield Mall. One individual was killed in the incident.

According to the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Michael-Earl Wayne Anthony has been arrested and booked into San Francisco County Jail for homicide.

According to reports, a shooting occurred on the 800 block of Market Street at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, prompting a police response. A 24-year-old woman, identified as Chynna Brown of San Francisco, was found with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and succumbed to her life-threatening injuries.

According to an initial investigation, a theft took place during the incident. The prime suspect was identified as Wayne, who was employed as a private security guard at the time.
