Krystal L. Lins Kiilled Two Others Injured In Crash On Gold Star Highway

A fatal head-on collision occurred on the Gold Star Highway in Groton, resulting in the death of one woman and serious injuries to another woman and her young daughter.

According to police, the crash has resulted in the closure of the Gold Star Highway (Route 184) between Toll Gate Road and Gungywamp Road.

According to reports, a Chevrolet Silverado was operated by Carolina Rose, a 37-year-old resident of Ledyard. She was accompanied by her nine-year-old daughter. Both of them sustained severe injuries and were taken to L&M Hospital in New London for medical attention.
