According to Louisville Metro Police, one person has been arrested in connection with the beating of a man in the Shawnee neighborhood on April 15. The victim has also been identified.
According to the Jefferson County coroner, the individual who has been identified is Jacky Joe Woodard, aged 53.
According to LMPD, they received a report of a man down in the 300 block of North 42nd Street at approximately 9 p.m. According to reports, Woodard had sustained several blunt-force injuries.
According to reports, Woodard passed away on April 28th at UofL Hospital due to the injuries he sustained.
Tony Glasper, 64, was arrested by LMPD’s Homicide Department on April 16. Initially charged with first-degree assault, Glasper now faces a pending charge of murder.
