According to Detroit police, the body of Devon Hoover, aged 53, was found on Sunday evening after officers were called to a house for a well-being check requested by the doctor’s family.
According to Detroit police Chief James White, the individual of interest was apprehended on Friday morning on an unrelated charge.
According to White, it is believed by the police that Hoover and the suspect had a prior acquaintance. He emphasized that the crime was not committed randomly.
