Trevon Malik Bowman Identified As 18-Year-Old Victim In Brooklyn Center Shooting


The identity of the 18-year-old man who was fatally shot in Brooklyn Center on Sunday evening has been disclosed.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, Trevon Malik Bowman, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn Park, sustained several gunshot wounds. According to reports, the manner of death has been determined to be a homicide.


On April 24, officers were called to Unity Avenue North near Ponds Drive North just before 9 p.m. for a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Bowman lying in the street.

He was taken to the hospital and subsequently passed away due to his injuries.


The investigation of the shooting is ongoing. The cause of death is currently under investigation and has not been determined at this time. No arrests have been announced by the Brooklyn Park police.
