On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at approximately 9:45 PM, District D-4 officers were dispatched to 155 Northampton Street in response to a report of an individual experiencing cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, a male victim identified as Robert Lee Scott, 55, of Boston, was found by officers. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
According to the Medical Examiner’s report on April 21, 2023, the cause of death was determined to be a sharp force injury to the heart, and the manner of death was ruled as a homicide.
According to sources, the Boston Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating a death and has identified Tanya Kelley, a 57-year-old Boston resident, as a suspect in connection with the incident. Tanya Kelley was arrested by the Boston Police Fugitive Unit on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
