Ricco Giles, 36, of Portland has been identified as the victim of the homicide that occurred on March 23, 2023 outside a bar in the Foster-Powell Neighborhood. The family of the deceased has been informed of his passing and has shared a photograph for public dissemination.
According to the medical examiner, the cause of death was determined to be homicide by gunshot.
A female victim of the shooting was found after being taken to a hospital by a private vehicle. According to reports, the injuries sustained by the individual were not life-threatening. The identities of the injured victims are not being disclosed.

According to reports, a shooting occurred outside a bar in the Foster-Powell Neighborhood, resulting in the death of one man and injury of another.
A shooting at a bar located in the 7000 block of Southeast Foster Road was reported on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:34p.m. East Precinct officers responded to the incident. Upon arrival, a victim was found in the parking lot. Trauma first aid was administered to the victim by officers until paramedics arrived to provide advanced care. The adult male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance and received treatment. According to reports, he passed away at the hospital.
Shortly after the shooting incident, an adult male arrived at a hospital by private vehicle. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound, but it was confirmed to be non-life threatening. According to reports, officers were dispatched to the scene and were informed that the individual had sustained gunshot wounds outside the bar.
At the moment, authorities have not found any suspect or suspects and there have been no arrests made.
