Ricco Giles Death: Victim Killed in SE Portland Bar Shooting

The man who was fatally shot outside a bar in Southeast Portland on March 23 has been identified by the police.

In breaking news, the medical examiner has confirmed that 36-year-old Ricco Giles from Portland was fatally shot and his death has been officially ruled as a homicide.

A shooting incident has been reported at a bar located in the 7000 block of Southeast Foster Road around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. Giles was given trauma first aid treatment by arriving officers, but unfortunately, he later passed away in the hospital.

As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified by investigators in the case. Detective Eric McDaniel and Detective Scott Broughton of the Portland Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in their ongoing investigation.
